Eastern Michigan Grain – Purchased a company of $1 Million annual sales with two full-time employees in November of 1993.  As of 2011 annual sales were $35 Million with 10 full-time and 10 seasonal employees.

November 1993 to Present – General Manager of Eastern Michigan Grain – Responsible for leadership, growth and integrity of EMG and its employees, liaison with parent company, grain merchandising and origination, administration, and regulation.

February 1991 to January 1993 – Program Director with W.K. Kellogg Foundation – Evaluate, recommend, and administer agricultural and rural development grants within the Continental U.S. and sub-Saharan West Africa

June 1988 to February 1991 – Legislative Representative with National Milk Producers Foundation – Communicate, Inform, and Educate US Congress, staff and Administration

June 1987 to June 1988 – Legislative Assistant to Congressman Bill Schuette – Prepared congressional testimony, floor statements, speeches and briefings for Member and constituency as appropriate for Agriculture Committee and other issues of responsibility, managed Member’s vote justification system
